The building holds secrets long kept behind closed doors—secrets the Masons never spoke of. Yet the past has never truly left.

Those who have spent time within these walls report that the spirits of former occupants still roam the halls. The family who once lived here experienced a steady pattern of unexplained activity that left little doubt they were not alone.

One of the most disturbing encounters involved a full-body apparition of a man wearing a gray shirt decorated with gold buttons and medals across his chest. He was seen standing silently, making direct eye contact, before slowly turning and disappearing from view.

The family’s daughter later witnessed what appeared to be a shadow figure descending the staircase, surrounded by a faint white glow. On another night, while sleeping in a tent set up in the downstairs lodge, they observed the dark silhouette of a figure moving through the room, passing without sound.

Throughout their time in the building, they reported unexplained knocking, the sound of old music echoing through empty rooms, and heavy footsteps crossing the floors when no one else was present.

Some of the most unsettling experiences involved personal objects. The previous owner once lost a ring, only to hear a persistent tapping sound coming from a specific area of the building days later. When they finally investigated, the ring was found resting in plain view. The tapping immediately stopped and was never heard again.

History seemed to repeat itself. While working on the heating system, Bob discovered his wedding ring was missing. After searching the entire building and retracing every step, it could not be found. The following day, Bob and Sally returned. When Sally entered the basement, she looked down to see the ring carefully placed on a wooden block, positioned deliberately as if waiting to be discovered.

For more than 150 years, this building served as a Masonic Temple, and during that time wakes and funerals were held within its walls.
